Every client is an individual and the therapy is tailored to your specific needs. It is about us working together to get you your desired results. Remember 'no change' means exactly that 'no change'. We all have habits or behaviours we wish we didn't. The good news is, they are learned behaviours and so.......guess what....great news, we can unlearn them.
My training as a Clinical Hypnotherapist incorporated techniques from other types of therapies, for example, EMDR, Counselling and CBT. I am also a qualified NLP Practitioner and a qualified EFT Practitioner (Emotional Freedom Technique otherwise known as Tapping). I also have 25 years experience working in the field of training and development and the qualifications to match. I can draw on these various therapies and my past work experience in training and development to coach you to get the very best results.
I provide hypnotherapy in Gateshead; Seaton Burn, Newcastle upon Tyne and Stannington, Morpeth.
I treat the following range of conditions and issues:
I am a Registered Practitioner with the national Central Register of Stop Smoking Therapists who provide a resource for those seeking to stop smoking. I tend to do my 'Stop Smoking' programme over two sessions ideally within a week of each other. The first session is to discuss your specific smoking habits and prepare you for giving up, the second session is your actual 'stop' day. There is hypnosis at both sessions. By doing it this way you are better prepared to give up and more comfortable with the feeling of hypnosis.
Life can be hard and it has lots of ups and downs. Sometimes we just feel stuck; fed up; emotional and as though we are simply not coping with every day life; completely drained of energy. Some of you may feel more down than up and struggle to get out of bed on a morning. It is so easy to get into a negative way of thinking and seems hard to get out of it. Some clients say that they just feel 'off' and don't know why; they have just lost their 'mojo'. So if this strikes a cord with you help is at hand. I can offer you support to break the cycle and get you back up to where you want to be.
We are not born with a fear, we are acutally born fearless. Fears are a learned behaviour so the good news is we can unlearn a fear. Sometimes these fears arise having grown up with a parent who had the fear, we were therefore, conditioned to have the same wariness. We could have developed a fear of 'clowns' due to our sibling waving a clown doll in our face when we were very young and found it scary. All fears start off with us being a bit anxious about something, this can then turn into an actual 'fear' and if we start to avoid doing things specifically because of it, it becomes a Phobia. If it reaches the Phobia stage it can greatly cause problems with our everyday life. Using a variety of desensitization techniques coupled with some postive suggestions we can break the pattern.
